| Patmos Isle |
 In the beginning years of Christianity, the apostle John spread the Gospel, to the point that he was exiled to the Island of Patmos. From that experience he was given a Revelation from God that would be proclaimed throughout the ages of time. Since then, two thousand years have passed. Inspired by the Apostle John's first hand experience of God's awesome hand, Patmos Isle has conceived this same ambition; to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the four corners of the world through our music. Dave Morini, Josh Broge, Jeff Broge, Joe Pullella, and Justin Goncus always had rock and roll in their blood, plus they all came to love Jesus Christ. In the summer of 2001, Dave and his Uncle Andy, took a trip to LA to see Michael Sweet and stryper. While there, Dave felt from the lord to start a new ministry. At the time, Dave, Josh, Joe, and Jeff were on the same worship team at their local church. They found that they all liked the same style of music - besides praise and worship - we loved to rock. Dave started writing music and things started clicking well for the band. Dave moved from the praise and worship ministry to the new band ministry so that he could focus his attention on the vision that was set before him. The other guys stayed on the worship team but added the rock band to their curriculum. Our first goal was a name for the band, and a CD. Patmos Isle was chose after many names were debated. Patmos Isle has a fascinating history. We began recording our first CD in the winter of 2001 and was finished by the spring of 2002. We are currently working on our second CD entiled "The healer", we expect it to be complete by the winter or spring of 2003. Deeply inspired by the same ambition as the once exiled Apostle John, Patmos Isle is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through music, no matter what the cost. |
