 For over ten years John Wesley has ministered to congregations all over the world through praise and worship music. Since childhood, John has made music a vital part of his life. By the age of eleven John was already an accomplished guitar player. Since then he has taught himself how to play various instruments such as piano, mandolin, drums, bass, strings, and every brass instrument.As a teenager John continued in music fronting several local Christian bands and opening for artist such as Phil Keaggy, Allies, Larry Norman, and Margaret Becker. By the age of 21 he was dividing his time between traveling, leading praise and worship for various events and conferences, and serving as associate pastor at a local church. John remained Associate Pastor of Praise and Worship for seven years before he felt the calling to pursue John Wesley full time. John has worked with various worship leaders, artist, and speakers such as: Louie Giglio, Audio Adrenalin, Lyndell Cooley, Geoff Moore and the Distance, Scott Crenshaw, Mercy Me, Vodie Bauchum, Rebecca St. James and many more. John Wesley also has considerable studio session experience producing numerous albums for himself and others. John is now based in Dallas, Texas where he and his wife Jodi are involved with Mimosa Lane Baptist Church, their family, and friends. They are currently expecting their first child due late January 2003. John continues to balance his time between traveling, and leading praise and worship for student camps, conferences, churches, and other various events. |
